Outreach Services

Community Presentations

The Ventura County Department of Child Support Services opens and manages hundreds of new cases every month.

Many people find themselves involved in court actions and are unaware of the impact this can have on their lives. In an attempt to increase public awareness of our services, the Department of Child Support Services Outreach Team is available to make presentations to community groups, businesses, and organizations on child support related issues.

Our presentations provide up to date information in respect to the child support process,  legal parentage, and enforcement methods which can be taken to collect child support. By sharing information with each other, we can more effectively locate parents, establish legal parentage, obtain court orders for support and health insurance coverage, enforce orders, and collect and distribute child support payments.
