Homeless Services Data

Homeless Services connects individuals and families seeking help to a network of agencies that provide health care, mental health services, drug and alcohol abuse treatment, temporary housing, and other benefits, and seeks to help clients’ secure permanent housing.

Learn more about the program here: Homeless Services

Those who qualify for Homeless Services may receive immediate temporary housing, rental assistance, and supportive services.

Recent trends show an increase in the homeless population across Ventura County.   The Homeless Count,  a point-in-time survey conducted each year in January, is an annual homeless census conducted countywide.  Led by local groups in all 10 cities, the count is conducted in every community. Low housing vacancy rates and the lack of affordable housing limit housing options for individuals and families.
