Ventura County Dropouts

Although high school dropout rates have decreased nationally, too many students do not complete high school and are at risk for diminished opportunities over a lifetime.

A high school dropout will earn about $200,000 LESS than their peers who earn a diploma. Dropouts will experience higher poverty and unemployment rates and will earn almost a million dollars less than college graduates.
