Assistant Chief Information Officer
Terry Theobald became the Assistant Chief Information Officer in 2019. As a member of IT Services executive team, Terry oversees the Applications Services and the Enterprise Systems Divisions. He is also one of the founders and instructors for the County’s Project Leadership Academy, a training and mentoring program for project managers.
Prior to his current role, Terry worked for 6 years as the IT Director for the Ventura County Health Care Agency. In addition, he has over 30 years as an IT executive / project management consultant providing technology solutions for Fortune 500 companies such as Caterpillar, Bell Helicopter, and Arco Alaska as well as the County of Ventura.
Terry has a Master of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine University’s School of Management, a Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola Marymount University. He is also a certified project manager (PMP) with the Project Management Institute.
