NOTICE:

The Parks reservation desk has moved from the County Government Center Hall of Administration to the County Saticoy Yard effective 15 October 2018. The location of the Yard is 11201-A1 Riverbank Drive, Ventura CA 93004 – Directions to Saticoy

Online Reservations

Welcome to Ventura County Parks Online Reservation system. We hope this system will make fulfilling your reservation needs easier, more convenient, save time, and money. All camping facilities are listed, all are reservable, and all sites will take walk-ins if the site is not reserved by using Mobile Payment. All group use areas must be reserved through the reservation desk due to use permit requirements; however availability of these areas can be checked by using the park reservation website at www.venturaparks.org.

Making Reservations

Reservations can be made 48 hours to 12 months before the date requested online. All reservations for Beach parks will now have the following reservation windows: Faria and Hobson are 48 hours to 180 days out and Rincon Parkway is 48 hours to 90 days out. A reservation fee of $21.50 shall be charged for group reservations, and $11.00 for individual reservations and $5 if booked online or using Mobile Payment (reservation fees are non-refundable). The first change to a reservation is free as a courtesy; additional changes will incur a $15.00 charge per change, with a maximum of 3 changes.

Seasons: On Season, 1 April through 31 October; Off Season, 1 November through 31 March.

Online camping reservations are now available! Reservations can also be made by telephone (805) 654-3951 or in person Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, excluding holidays. By telephone or online, payment must be made with VISA®, MasterCard® or Discover Card®.  Cash, checks, money orders, and the above credit cards are accepted in person at County Saticoy Yard 11201-A1 Riverbank Drive, Ventura CA 93004. Payment in full is due at time of booking. A non-refundable reservation fee will be charged for each reservation.

Before making a reservation, have the following information ready:

  • Park(s) selected
  • Date you plan to start camping
  • Alternative park and camping date choices
  • Length of RV or number and size of tents
  • Number of people that will occupy the campsite
  • Number of nights you wish to camp
  • Your phone number with area code
  • Credit card number and expiration date
  • E-mail Address
  • Mailing address

The reservation agent will:

  • Confirm your selection and make sure that the information you provided has been recorded correctly.
  • Provide you with a confirmation number to use when you arrive at the park.

Reservation Cancelation Policy:

Reservation Cancelation – Day Use and Facilities:

  1. 45 days or more prior to reserved date:
    1. Reservation fee forfeited.
    2. Use fee fully refunded or transferred to another date.
    3. Security deposit fully refunded.
  2. 44-15 days prior to reservation date:
    1. Reservation fee forfeited.
    2. Use fee – 50% forfeited; remainder refunded or transferred to another date.
    3. Security deposit fully refunded.
  3. Less than 15 days prior to reserved date:
    1. Reservation fee forfeited.
    2. Use fee forfeited.
    3. Security deposit fully refunded.

Reservation Cancelation – Camping:

  1. 30 days or more prior to reserved date:
    1. Reservation fee forfeited.
    2. Use fee fully refunded or transferred to another date.
  2. 30-7 days prior to reservation date:
    1. Reservation fee forfeited.
    2. At camper’s option, either (i) 50% refund of use fee (with remainder forfeited) or (ii) issuance of a voucher for 100% of the use fee (with no refund).
  3. Less than 7 days prior to reserved date.
    1. Reservation fee forfeited.
    2. Use fee forfeited or voucher may be requested for use fee subject to Deputy Director approval.
  4. Non Check-in (No-Show)
    1. Automatic cancellation of remaining reservation days after 48 hours.
    2. All fees paid are forfeited.
