Resilience During COVID-19 for ASV Families

Autism Society Ventura County will be hosting a Resilience during Covid 19 via ZOOM on Monday, June 1, 2020 at 6:30 PM. Our goal is to have our ASVC families stay mentally healthy during these difficult, stressful times. Presenter will be Vanessa Acero, M.S., Psy.Dc from Give an Hour.
Give an Hour’s mission is to develop national networks of volunteers capable of responding to both acute and chronic conditions that arise within our society. By harnessing the skill and expertise of volunteer professionals, we are able to increase the likelihood that those in need receive the support and care they deserve.
Topics that will be presented:
- Understand how the global pandemic affects emotional well-being
- Five signs of Emotional suffering
- Healthy Habits of Emotional well-being
- Learn how to build a community of support
- Trauma Informative
