Best Practices to Reach and Serve LGBTQ Youth
Tuesday, June 2 | 2:00 – 4:00 pm PST. Ian Stanley Posadas, Director of LGBTQ Connection
A wide range of research and data document the critical health and safety needs faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth. Ian’s presentation will assist youth-serving staff wishing to implement research-based and community-defined practices effective in serving LGBTQ youth, their caregivers, and families.
Part of a free interactive webinar series produced by the Center for Innovation and Resources in partnership with The Partnership for Safe Families & Communities of Ventura County. This is a 3-part series that will allow you to interact with the trainers and follow along with handouts that will be provided via email. The webinars will be offered through Zoom, and you can register at the link provided in the flyer below. You only need to register once, and you will receive the links to each part the day before the live session. Since this training is normally offered as a full one-day session, we do encourage you to attend all three parts on June 2nd, 3rd, and 4th from 2:00-4:00 pm PST.
