VCTC is bringing the first fixed-route transit service bus stop between East and West Ventura County to the community of Somis. Beginning January 14, 2019, buses will stop in Somis. To celebrate this milestone, VCTC will offer FREE bus rides to all passengers who board or exit at the Somis stop during its first month, Jan. 14 – Feb. 15.
The East-West connector improves access to key employment centers, educational institutions, and health care facilities as well as to the Ventura County Government Center. Somis residents will have the ability to ride the bus to the Ventura County Government Center in time for an 8:00 a.m. jury summons.
