Farmworker Resource Program Ribbon Cutting
On Thursday, August 22 the County of Ventura’s Farmworker Resource Program hosted a reception in celebration of the launch of the program and to introduce the community to the staff and services available to both farmworkers and growers in the region. The reception, which hosted 200 guests, was held at the program’s Oxnard offices located at 1400 Vanguard Drive.

Supervisor Steve Bennett and Senator Hannah Beth Jackson celebrated Earth Day at Oak Grove School on Saturday, April 23 with a Monarch Butterfly release. The Earth Day event is put together by four great environmental organizations that serve the Ojai Valley. The Ojai Valley Land Conservancy, The Green Coalition, Food for Thought and Oak Grove School.
