Mobile Home Park Rent ControlThe Ventura County Board of Supervisors has appointed a five member Mobile Home Park Rent Review Board (RRB). The RRB is responsible for rent stabilization through the Mobile Home Park Rent Control Ordinance. The Ventura County Staff reviews Mobile Home Park owner’s proposed rent change applications for completeness and consistency with the MHPRC Ordinance, which was adopted to protect the owners of mobile dwelling units from unreasonable rent increase, while at the same time recognizing the need of park owners to receive a fair return on their property and rental income sufficient to cover expenses.
