The Environmental Report Review Committee (ERRC) was established to review and make recommendations regarding the technical adequacy of draft Environmental Impact Reports (EIRs). In addition, ERRC hears appeals of the decisions of staff agencies regarding the type of environmental document that should be prepared for the project. The committee meets on an as-needed basis and is comprised of six members, one from each of the following agencies: Public Works Agency, Agricultural Commissioner’s Office, Fire Protection District, Planning Division, Environmental Health Division, and Air Pollution Control District.
