Directions to Building and Safety Division-Ventura Office

Finding the Building and Safety Division amongst the various buildings and offices at the County Government Center can be difficult the first time, especially if you are unfamiliar with the area. Therefore, we have provided you with a series of maps of greater Southern California that progressively guide you to the Government Center site and then to the Hall of Administration where the Building and Safety Division is located.

Enter the Government Center from Telephone Road at Lark Street. Park in the main parking lot that will be on your left. Head toward the eastern entrance of the Hall of Administration that is marked by a water fountain and a ring of palm trees. The Building and Safety Division offices are directly above the information kiosk on the 3rd floor. Take the elevator, push the “3” button and walk out the elevator around to the opposite side to the Building and Safety counter.

Directions to Building and Safety Division-East County Office

• 101 Freeway take the Northbound 23 Freeway in Thousand Oaks, toward Fillmore.
• 23 Freeway past Moorpark and the 23 Freeway will become the 118 Freeway.
• 118 Freeway, take the Tapo Canyon Street exit and turn left under the 118 Freeway.
• North to Alamo Street and turn left.
• Right on Santa Lucia Sreet.
• Once you turn right you will see two buildings on your right. The first is the City of Simi Valley, Development Services Building. The second is the East County Courthouse Building.
• The address is 3855-F Alamo Street. There is only one entrance to this building and it is on the south side and it is guarded. Do not bring pocket knives, nail files, and other such objects as you will not be allowed in the building with them.
  
  Building and Safety is located on the 2nd floor at the north end, room 2019-A.
