The 2017-2018 Winter Homeless Shelter (Spanish) listing is here.  For Year-Round Shelter information and TB test requirements, see below.  To ensure that Winter Warming Shelter residents have access to assistance during daytime when the shelter is closed, Community Action of Ventura County (621 Richmond   Avenue in Oxnard, 805-436-4000) will offer daytime services to shelter residents December 21st through March 15th , 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. daily.  Shelter residents may request free bus passes to Community Action, where laundry, shower, and social services will be available.

All persons (children over age one and adults) must have proof of a recent (within 60 days) and clear TB test before they are allowed into a shelter.  TB tests are available free of charge to shelter users at any VC Health Care Agency Urgent Care Clinic (see listing below).  Persons who are intoxicated or disorderly will not be admitted to the shelter sites.
