Cultural Heritage Board Meetings and Agendas

To accomplish the preservation and protection of our county’s cultural, historical and natural resources, the Board of Supervisors has appointed a Cultural Heritage Board (CHB). The CHB in turn appoints two at-large members. The CHB is responsible for the establishment and evaluation of potentially eligible cultural heritage sites. After holding a public hearing, the CHB may establish Site of Merit, Points of Interest or Landmarks. The CHB also considers Certificates of Appropriateness for alterations to such sites. The CHB meetings are held as needed on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at 1:15 p.m. in Room 311 of the County Hall of Administration.
