California Accidental Release Prevention Program – CalARPThe Ventura County Environmental Health Division (EHD) regulates facilities subject to the California Accidental Release Prevention Program (CalAPR) within Ventura County with the exception of the City of Oxnard, the City of Santa Paula, and the City of Ventura. The objective of the CalARP program is to identify the risks associated with the use of extremely hazardous materials (regulated substances(arprs.pdf) in an industrial process and to reduce the chances and negative effects to the public of an extremely hazardous materials release.
